Lobasand ceramic grain hook & loop (Velcro) sanding discs, 150mm, for edge sanders and hand-held sanders with a 150mm hook & loop pad. Buy them singly or save the reordering with a box of 50, in grits P36 to P120.
Ceramic grain stays sharp much longer than standard abrasives and runs cool, so you get an even, clean sanding pattern and fewer changes. It suits every finish, including hard UV-cured factory lacquers.
Which grit do I need?
P24 to P40 (coarse): the first cut. Takes off old lacquer, paint and wax, and levels cupped or uneven boards.
P50 to P60 (medium): takes out the scratches left by the first cut.
P80 to P120 (fine): the final passes before oil or lacquer.
Work up through the grits and don't skip more than one between passes, or the coarser scratches will show through the finish.
