Shipping Policy – Kidd Flooring 

Delivery Area

We currently deliver within Ireland only.

Delivery Method

Most flooring products are delivered via palletised freight or specialist couriers due to weight and size. Accessories and smaller items may be delivered via standard courier services.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout or upon order confirmation and are estimates only, not guarantees.

Typical delivery times range from 3–10 working days, depending on product availability and delivery location.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier or freight companies

  • Supplier availability

  • Weather conditions

  • Access restrictions at the delivery address

  • Events outside our reasonable control

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges vary depending on product type, weight, quantity, and delivery location.

All applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed before checkout.

Delivery Address & Access

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Delivery details are accurate and complete

  • The delivery location is accessible for large or pallet deliveries

  • Someone is available to receive the delivery

Failed or refused deliveries may result in additional delivery or re-delivery charges.

Inspection on Delivery (Important)

All goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

If goods arrive damaged or incomplete, you must:

  • Note the issue on the delivery documentation where possible, and

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photographs

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being rejected.

Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

Ownership of the goods passes once full payment has been received.

Split & Supplier Deliveries

Some orders may be delivered in multiple shipments or directly from suppliers. This does not affect your delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

Special Orders

Special order or made-to-order products may have extended delivery times. Estimated delivery times will be communicated at the time of order.
